The Origin of Goldie.
Every Icon Has a Beginning.
Goldie didn’t appear by accident. It began with a vision that wouldn’t let go a shape, a feeling, a spark. On June 26, 2020, André Guldhjärta gave it form. The rest is still unfolding.
It Started With
a Stare.
The first spark came like a flash on a movie screen. A head, round and unfinished, staring into nothing. Inspired by vintage cartoon characters, late-night sketches, and a porcelain panther rescued from a second-hand store, that rough shape became the beginning of something far greater.

Shaping
the figure.
The early body looked more like a stack of potatoes than a sculpture. But slowly, a form emerged. Part cartoon, part human, with a soft belly and relaxed posture. On the chest, a large heart was carved not just for the name Guldhart, but as a tribute to the artists sisters who were born with congenital heart defects. The figure became more than shape. It carried meaning.

Details
that walk.
Boots never fit the character. Sneakers did. Air Max, Jordans, Pumps references drawn from personal taste and street culture. The design keeps evolving and will continue to change as the artist does. Each pair adds identity, balance, and rhythm from head to sole.

Inside the structure.
Building a figure that stands tall, looks balanced, and feels alive is harder than it seems. Every angle matters. Every joint has to hold. The early prototypes were fragile, and the structure gave way more times than one can count. But the challenge was part of the thrill. With each failure came a new idea, and slowly, the figure was redesigned from within. Hidden supports and smarter joints gave Goldie the strength to stand with ease without losing its playful stance.

From One to Many.
Once the original was complete, it was time to duplicate. Silicone molds were created with care and precision. Each cast began as a blank body raw, exposed, full of potential. Like us, they are born unformed and slowly grow into something unique. No two are ever truly alike. Some take color boldly. Others stay soft and silent. Each version finds its own story.

A Canvas in 3D.
Painting is where Goldie comes to life. Acrylics, ink, spray paint, or sculpted additions turn each cast into a unique personality. A crown, a helmet, a new color scheme. Each choice is an invitation to play, remix, and explore without rules.

The story continues.
In a short time, Goldie has taken bold steps forward. What started as a simple shape has already grown into something full of character, color, and attitude. And this is just the beginning. Who knows what Goldie might look like in five years? The story is unfolding. You're invited to be part of it.
