André Guldhjärta is a self-taught artist who turns failure into fuel. Through fearless experimentation and raw creative energy, he brings his inner world to life blending nostalgic forms with bold, contemporary flair. In his compact Malmö studio, traditional sculpture meets modern tools, and every misstep becomes part of the magic. His journey is proof that progress lies in daring to create, destroy, and begin again.
Behind the work process.
Ideas often arrive like flashes on a movie screen day or night. I always carry a small sketchbook to catch them before they fade. In the studio, those rough notes take shape through a mix of sculpting by hand and digital exploration. It’s an intuitive process of trial, error, and playful obsession where every piece tells the story of how it came to be.
